The Entomological Society of Central Florida is teaming up with the Lyonia Environmental Center to celebrate National Moth Week! Come join us for a fun night to learn about moths and set up light traps!

"It’s almost National Moth Week! There are more than 11,000 species of moth in the United States, with over 1,400 species found in Florida. In this event, we will be learning about these powerhouse pollinators from members of the Entomological Society of Central Florida. After the presentation, join us outside, where we will set up equipment to attract moths and identify these nocturnal species. This event is dependent on weather. It is appropriate for all participants who can handle the late hour and are not afraid of flying insects. Flashlights are recommended." - The Lyonia Environmental Center.
