Paws for Peace Phone Bank Volunteer Event
This volunteer event supports the Paws for Peace Walk & Run, an annual fundraiser benefiting survivors of domestic violence and their pets. Organized by Harbor House of Central Florida, this event helps ensure that no survivor has to choose between their safety and their pet’s well-being.
Volunteers will participate in a live phone bank hosted in partnership with WKMG News 6. Volunteers will answer incoming calls from donors, record donation details using a provided script, and help raise critical funds for the cause. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community and make a direct impact.

⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Volunteer Requirements & Important Information:
✅ No Required Forms: Volunteers do not need to fill out any pre-event paperwork.
✅ Parking: Available at WKMG Studios. Volunteers should allow time for parking and check-in.
✅ Supplies: All necessary materials, including scripts and call sheets, will be provided.
✅ Rain or Shine: Since this is an indoor event, it will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
✅ Dress Code: Business casual or semi professional attire is recommended. Volunteers should dress comfortably while maintaining a polished appearance for the setting.
✅ Arrival Time: Volunteers should arrive promptly at 4:00 PM for a brief orientation before calls begin.
