University of Central Florida Arboretum

Join us for a neurodivergent-friendly nature walk at the Arboretum! This relaxed event is a chance to connect with nature, meet new people, and start the semester in a welcoming and low-pressure environment.

Location: Wildflower Loop, Orlando, FL 32816

Date: September 3rd

Time: 5:30–6:30 PM

We’ll take a gentle walk through the Arboretum with opportunities to chat, observe nature, and connect with others. Participants will be placed in small groups of 3–4 people, and conversation starters will be provided to help make introductions and socializing easier and more comfortable.

This event is neurodivergent-friendly! Come as you are! There’s no pressure to talk, participate in every activity, or socialize in a particular way. Feel free to take breaks, move at your own pace, or simply enjoy the surroundings.

Whether you’re looking to make friends, enjoy some fresh air, or ease into the new semester, we’d love to have you join us!

Meet us at the entrance of the Arboretum at 5:30 PM.
